China's Auto Exports Up 32% YoY in H1 2026, NEV Share Exceeds Half for the First Time

According to the General Administration of Customs, China's auto exports grew 32% year-on-year in the first half of 2026, with the share of new energy vehicle exports surpassing 50% for the first time and becoming the core driver of export growth.
Industry analysis suggests that the improvement of overseas charging infrastructure and the advancement of localized production are the two main pillars supporting the continued strength of NEV exports. Full-year export volume is expected to hit a new historical high.
